Similar to our non-aged Signature Rum Fruit Cake, our Aged loaves go through a long aging process. It begins with soaking the fruits for 3 months long before baking. Thereafter, it is aged for at least another 3 months before it is ready to be sold. Like aged wine, the flavours of the spices, liquid rum, rum paste, Angostura Bitters and dried fruits are given time to fuse together, resulting in a more complete and rounded flavour.
The next batch of Aged Rum Fruit Cake won't be available until August 2018.
